There are alot of questions that are emailed everyday about the calls I make. Below is a list of the most common ones I receive. If you have additonal questions or details that need to be answered please contact me directly.

Q. What is the db rating for an Alpha Wolf Game Call?
A. Depending on model; Alpha Wolf Calls have a db rating of 110 - 120 tested at a distance of 3ft.
Q. What is the frequency Response for your calls?
A. 40 Hz - 22 kHz.
Q. Are any of your calls waterproof?
A. The following Alpha Wolf Calls are made to be as water tight and weatherproof as possible ( Hellstorm, Farcry, WeaponX ). Complete submerssion could possibly lead to a damaged call, but in a heavy rain one need not worry. In a heavy rain you should place the remote and/ or sound player in a plastic zip bag. This will not effect performance or range.
Q. Do you offer any calls with Wireless functions?
A. We have this ability, but at this time it is not offered to the public. With wireless fuctionability comes alot of technical issues that arise along with FCC Legal Authorization. As Alpha Wolf grows we may offer Wireless calls.
Q. Only wired calls? Why?
A. Through our experiance wired calls are much, much more dependable, less technical/ electrical failures to occur and most importantly simpler to use when it comes down to it. You can buy a $600 wireless call w/ a 5 Year Limited Warranty, but 6 out of 10 will have many technical issues through the course of it's warranty period.
Q. Can I use 9V NiMH rechargeable batteries in your calls?
A. Absolutley. As a matter of fact we recommend it!
Q. Does Alpha Wolf ship orders internationally?
A. Yes we do!
Q. Why do you not install a LED light on the call to let the user know if it is on or not?
A. This is something that can be done at no extra cost. However my experiance with night hunts has proven that a LED or backlit light can spook even the most aggressive animal. The switch I provide on my calls instead has an indicator letting you know the switch is in the "ON" postition.
Q. Can I use an external speaker with your calls?
A. Yes. The following Alpha Wolf Calls has a built in Audio Out Speaker Jack where an additional speaker can be added ( Hellstorm, WeaponX, Snipe+Pack) . We sell the 15watt Scout Speaker add on to accommodate this.
Q. Do Alpha Wolf Calls work in the cold?
A. My calls have been tested and proven to function with no problems in temperatures near 0 degrees. I live in Georgia and must go to the highest altitudes in the Cohutta Wilderness to check this. If you are to use Alpha Wolf Calls in the bitter cold I recommend Lithium 9V batteries as they hold up extremly well in freezing temperatures.
Q. How do you compare your calls to the XXX calls on the market?
A. Believe me I have owned the cheapos up to the best. I can honestly say the Alpha Wolf calls I build is not only comparable, but in some cases surpasses other call makers in Quality and Volume.
Q. Is the Biscuits N' Gravy Decoy remote controlled?
A. Not at this time.
Q. Do you offer a warranty with your calls?
A. At this time Alpha Wolf Game Calls is owned and operated by 1 person. All of my calls are built simple, extremely durable and tuff, and with much care. There is simply not much that can go wrong with the calls I build, however I can be reached anytime with support issues and questions about your call. Wired calls are rock solid and have little to no issues. If an issue does arise with your wired call please give me a call so I can diagnose the problem and if need be fix free of charge.
